And yes there are interesting tales as to the source of these recordings. Some labels , like EMI (Angel-Capitol-Melodiya-Seraphim) Dot and Warner Bros used the same album numbers for their LP versions making cross-reference a snap and allows the listing of LPs and Tapes on the same chart. Others like RCA Columbia and London used uncoordinated schemes, so LP album numbers are also shown as a reference aid to locating tapes. Looking for 2-track catalogs?
